The Eva-Tech Tile Decking Range is a brand new innovation, perfect for the homeowner looking to add a bit of style and class to their home. The unbelievably simple application of the tiles, gives anyone the opportunity to install their own deck. With the many different styles and colours available, you are sure to find the one that is perfect for you.
Eva-Tech Composite Decking is composed of a combination of hardwood fibres, industrial grade polymers and a formulated blend of additives and UV inhibitors. Designed to cope with the harshest of weather conditions and ultra violet radiation, Eva-Tech still upholds it’s strikingly good looks and never loses its inherent colour.
TerraZa
It has the look and feel of wood - but the TerraZa profile is made from S2, an optimised combination of wood and plastic. S2 combines the best qualities of both materials. The new high-tech S2 material retains the special characteristics of wood in that it can be recycled easily but does not require any treatment or maintenance. When being machined, it behaves like wood and can be drilled, sawn or milled with regular timber tools.
The TerraZa boards have a click fit system, perfect for a balcony application, as water does not drain though the profiles, but rather runs off to the desired drainage point. The four available colours are sure to give you the variety you require to suit the aesthetics of your home or building.

African Decks - Wooden Decks In South Africa
Timber decks have become the fashion addition to many homes in the USA, UK and now in South Africa. It is easy to see why an attractive wooden deck creates a unique aura of comfort. A well-planned wooden deck, not quite an indoor, nor an outdoor entertainment area, links your house and garden enhancing the quality of both all year round. Our ideal highveld climate optimises the need for a timber deck, which will become the focal point for all al fresco dining, daytime relaxation, sunbathing and extending your lifestyle into an evening area for braais and parties. The ultimate entertainment venue!
The timber deck designs and possibilities are endless. A sundeck, viewing deck, a pool-braai deck, a veranda, add to your living space, resurface your patio, cover an unsightly inaccessible corner of your garden, garden pathways and landscaping - whatever it is you want!
A deck costs less to build than any other indoor room. Few home improvements can match a deck for the enjoyment you will add to your lifestyle, the utilization you will get from your deck and the value you will add to your home!
African Decks has built a reputation for high standards of both the product and our customer care. This has resulted in many of our commercial and private projects being built through the recommendations of existing clients.

Decks - Wooden Decks
A wooden deck is a useful home improvement that adds beauty and value to your home. It offers a way to expand your living area into the outdoors. A deck is best described as a wooden platform, capable of supporting weight, typically constructed outdoors and often but not necessarily, connected to a building. Depending on its height it could be enclosed with wooden balustrades for safety.
Furthermore it provides a pleasing outdoor space for entertaining purposes.
Blending your entertainment area with one of Mother Nature 's splendid products provides a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor living, especially in South Africa, where our year-round climate makes timber decks a commodity to be enjoyed during all seasons.
Not surprisingly good timber decking has become a popular addition to many South African homes; transforming bland spaces into practical and stylish outdoor amenities.
Because timber is so versatile, practically any shape, size and colour is possible, which means you can design one to suit your individual taste or budget. Decks can form part of your landscaping or be an alternative to patios by adding a romantic pergola.
Pool surroundings can be revitalised by replacing worn-out paving with a new, spunky wooden deck.www.floormasters.co.za

Enjoyment and adding value to your property
Timber decking in the garden can increase the enjoyment you obtain from your property. Providing that you approach the project in an organised manner, you should end up with decking you can be proud of and enjoy for years to come.
When you come to think about the site for your decking, you need to consider various aspects, the main ones are:
- Do you want to access the decking from the house? Possibly from existing patio doors, or you may be planning to add patio doors later. If you do want access from the house, the position for the decking will determined by the position of the patio doors.
- How big do you want the decking? This will be influenced by both the amount of room you have available and the intended use of the decking. Do you want it for entertaining friends and family, or just to sit on with a drink on summer evenings?
- How much privacy do you want? You already have enough privacy, otherwise you may need to build a screen.
- Is the garden flat enough or do you need to do some landscaping? On a sloping site, you can have decking with different levels.
