Established in 2001, Contour Decks® has established itself in the decking market as one of the most rapidly growing deck construction companies in South Africa. Our Head Office and Factory is based in Diep River in the Southern suburbs of Cape Town. We do however contract throughout Southern Africa.

We utilise professional engineers, as well as professional drafting services, should these be required.

All of our standard decks use corrosion resistant solid stainless steel fasteners.

A range of different timbers is sourced to suit most budgets and tastes.

MATERIALS

The preferred hardwood timber used for outside decks is BALAU, imported from sustainable forests in Malaysia. However Contour Decks® is flexible when meeting the clients’ needs – other timber types are available on request.

All fixings are of a high quality and standard structures comply with SABS span ratings. Coastal work usually necessitates the use of stainless steel components.

AREAS OF EXPERTISE

Free quotations and expert advice allow the home owner to create a custom deck to suit their individual needs or preferences. Our consultants will show you examples of our work where necessary.

Contour Decks® will add extra features such as pergolas, balustrading, built-in seating and raised step areas in line with your budget. There is no limit to the size or design. Left natural hardwood decking provides a warm soft surface, with relatively low maintenance.
